From Maggot-Boy To Millionaire

At 22, Roger Surgay had no job, no qualifications, a wife and three children to support, a dog that could eat for England and a hole in his shoe.

But 25 years later he sold his fishing tackle business empire for £3m, went to work for one of Britain's biggest retail chains, was on the board of directors in two years, and then gave that up to start an entirely new business that has dwarfed all of his earlier achievements.

It's a journey that has taken him around the world, led to his rubbing shoulders with the rich and famous and come close to costing him his life on two occasions, all due to his eye for an opportunity, his willingness to work and his love of fishing.
