"I was born in 1968 on the Essex/Herts border. and immersed myself in all sports and like most kids back then, I was out from dawn to dusk. I descovered fishing at the age of 11 and this meant I could stay out longer and avoid coming home to a war zone between my parents. School wasn't any better, and fishing probably got me through some dark times.

During the last 40 years I have been to many countries and held a huge variation in jobs, from running a greyhound stadium to top level government security.

In that time carp fishing has changed beyond all recognition and bait development with it. The following pages are snipits from 4 decades of my angling journey and forty years of bait research. Unlike my other angling compilation books, 'This time it's personal.' "
