Beauties and the Beasts

The story of ‘Beauties and the Beasts’ takes us through some classic carp encounters. Starting back in 1990 on the ‘hushed’ Frampton Court, John learned many things along the way and met quite a few ‘characters’, some good and some not so good, all the while sustained by the drive to catch big carp from some of the most prestigious venues in the country. These include the four Yateley lakes; The Match, Copse, North and the headbanging Car Park Lake.

As John successfully tackled these waters he also ventured to other historic waters in the south. Savay, Longfield Road Lake, Fox Pool and Pingewood and many others were fished in pursuit of Beauties and Beasts.

John’s goals and life-changing moments are captivated within these 480 pages.
